Toronto’s churches belong in public life.
The Church is not a voting bloc. It is a public good.
Freedom and independence
Neither an arm of government nor an extension of a party.
Toronto’s churches should remain free, independent, biblically grounded, and publicly present.
Their responsibility cannot be reduced to electoral influence. The Church answers first to God, serves people directly, speaks truth even when it is inconvenient, and refuses to make political access the measure of faithfulness.

Defend freedom. Challenge retreat. Demonstrate presence.
Pastor David does not claim authority over Toronto’s churches. As Spiritual Mayor, he is willing to defend their freedom, recognize their contribution, challenge their retreat from public life, and demonstrate ministry beyond church walls.
That includes preaching, mentoring, serving, supporting family and recovery, and remaining willing to speak when the language of faith is treated as unwelcome in civic life.
Toronto does not need the Church to become City Hall.Invite David to speak
